underbara du.
rachel, 24, beach bum, yoga teacher, island girl. i think... there is always two sides to every story (sometimes three or four, but that usually means there is tequila involved). as to life. it's not black or white, it's black and white and hopefully pink and sparkly inbetween... you can teach yoga and still love to party. meditate and ignore your spending problems. be vegan and eat too much chocolate. have a swedish passport and live in the caribbean. you can do anything, as long as its you.

the beat of your heart is the rhythm of your soul.
underbara du -
wonderful, you.
In my grocery cart:

Produce, organic if it’s offered (unfortunately we don’t get that much organic produce on the island): spinach, lettuce, parsley, avocado, dill, mango, lemon, tomato, spring potato, pineapple, cauliflower, physalis, white grapes, alfa alfa sprouts.

Cooking essentials: Organic olive oil, sesame oil, grape seed oil. White wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard.

For desserts/baking: Brown rice flour, dates, raw almonds, baking soda, maple syrup, coconut crystals, unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened chocolate.

And other goodies: Frozen cherries, frozen strawberries (organic thank god!), wasabi/wakame snacks, Ezekiel granola, organic red wine, organic tomato sauce, gluten-free pasta, dried unsulphured apples, chickpeas and quinoa.

Please note that I do not shop like this every day. But yes, pretty much all the money I make goes to food! I like to eat. A lot😊 Quality trumps quantity… Eat healthy, nutritious whole foods and you’ll live a long healthy life. Plus, I’d rather spend a little more on groceries every month caring for my body than waste thousands of dollars on medical bills from eating a SAD (yes, sad!) Standard American Diet when I get older. Remember: fruit and veggies IS a fast food! #healthyeverydamnday

  2. lookupcollection said: There’s a fun little quote I heard recently: “Pay the grocer now, or pay the doctor later.” Your cart echoes that philosophy. It’s smart!
